Faqs & Info

• How much time does a typical photo session require?
It is possible to run through a house and shoot some snapshots in just a few minutes. But it is the “snapshot” look that we are trying to avoid. Good photography takes time, but it is time well invested. The times provided here are general estimates:
Apartments/Condos: 30-45 minutes
Small to medium homes: up to 1 hour
Larger/multi-family homes: 1-2 hours

• How long does it take to get the photos once the session is finished?
In most cases I am able to deliver the final products within 24 hours.  Larger properties may take up to 48 hours.  Should more time be required, you will be informed at the time of the session.

• How will the photos be delivered?
Your photos will be presented in an online gallery. You will be provided with a link where you can view and download the images. Other delivery options are available such as Dropbox or Google Drive.  Let me know what would work best for you. Physical products like DVD’s or CD’s can be used but will incur additional fees for preparation and delivery.

• How do I pay for the photos?
Generally, payment is required at the time of the session. It can be by cash, check or money order. Credit and debit cards are also accepted. If optional payment terms have been negotiated, an invoice will be emailed to you.

• Does someone need to be present at the property at the time of the session?
Generally, yes as many MLS’s prohibit contractors from being alone inside properties. Check with you MLS for their policy. If the agent is unavailable, at least the homeowner or a representative should be present.

• Are there any special instructions for preparing the property for the photo session?
Yes.  I provide a checklist to help ensure the best conditions for the property to be photographed.  You can download it here. Please forward a copy to the homeowner in advance of the session.  This checklist consists of suggestions to help make the property look its best and is not mandatory. But, as noted in the terms, I will photograph the property “as-is.” I do not provide cleaning or staging services.

• How may I use the images? Can I give them to the homeowner or someone else?
A detailed description of usage terms is provided here.
